The climate here is beautiful for the majority of the year. The hottest and busiest months are from the end of June, July and August. This is the high season of this resort where its absolutely buzzing with people, lots of bars, restaurants, shops, night clubs and the "Main Drag" is in full swing with various kinds of entertainment.

May, June and September are the firm favorites with the locals, as the weather is fantastic but it is quieter and the beaches are nearly deserted in comparison to the other months. Perfect for those who prefer to escape to the sunshine without the crowds and the beach to yourself.

Sozopol is about 25 minutes drive from Bourgas airport, 20 minutes to the Strandza mountain national reserve.
